LGS, SCMIS Expand Meal Program for Students Facing Food Insecurity in Spring 2023

Laney Graduate School (LGS) has partnered with Emory Dining to expand the Food Security Safeguard Program (FSSP) for LGS graduate students. Starting Spring 2023, an additional number of meal swipes will be available.

The student facing food insecurity can simply click on this link and, upon filling out a few pieces of information, will receive three meal swipes to the Dobbs Common Table (DCT) that can be used immediately with their Emory ID.

If food insecurity continues, the student can return to the form and submit a second request. The LGS Student Affairs team, with the support from Student Case Management and Intervention Services (SCMIS) will meet with the student to assist with navigating long-term solutions to food insecurity as well as approve an additional 12 meal swipes.

LGS continues to explore longer-term solutions to address the financial and non-financial hardships that many of our students face in the current environment. We are committed and continue to collaborate with campus partners to foster an environment of inclusion, which includes addressing critical needs such as food insecurity.

Fill out this form for three more meal swipes.
