John Anthony Fuller Receives the 2025 Kharen Fulton Award for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Impact
John Anthony Fuller, a doctoral nursing student in the Laney Graduate School at Emory University, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Kharen Fulton Award, which recognizes graduate students whose work exemplifies a deep commitment to community engagement.
The award, named for the late Dr. Kharen Fulton, celebrates scholars who embody her legacy of advocacy, mentorship, and the pursuit of justice across academic and community spaces.

Eagle Food Pantry Restock: Supporting Students Through Community Care
As the semester moves into its final stretch, Emory students are juggling exams, projects, and the pressures of daily life.
For some, food insecurity adds an additional layer of stress that can make academic success even more challenging. To ensure that every student has access to essential resources this season, Student Case Management and Intervention Services (SCMIS) is leading a campus-wide effort to restock the Eagle Food Pantry.
From November 17 through November 24, SCMIS invites students, faculty, staff, and campus partners to participate in a community-driven collection effort. This initiative is an opportunity for the Emory community to come together in support of students who may need extra help during a crucial time in the academic calendar.
