Student Spotlight: Rayvant Sahni Blends Computer Science, Creativity, and Community

As we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2025 at this Friday’s LGS Diploma Ceremony, we’re shining a light on one of this year’s standout graduates: Rayvant Sahni, a master’s student in Computer Science whose journey at Emory has been nothing short of inspiring.

From his early days navigating graduate school as an international student to serving as a computer science program ambassador, Sahni found purpose in community and growth in leadership. His research, conducted in Emory’s CARE Lab, focuses on developing accessible communication tools for educators in rural India—work that is already making a real-world impact. Outside the classroom, Sahni is also a passionate actor and storyteller, curious about how technology like AI can transform creative fields like film and music.

🎓 Read Rayvant’s full profile and learn how he’s bridging disciplines and making change.

📅 Then join us to celebrate graduates like Rayvant at the LGS Diploma Ceremony on at 2 p.m., Friday, May 9 in the WoodPEC — or tune in live to cheer on the Class of 2025 from wherever you are!
