Camilla S. Jydebjerg
Camilla Jydebjerg (she/her/hers) is a lecturer at University College Absalon and a doctoral student at Roskilde University, Denmark. Camilla is doing research and teaching within the fields of social law and administrative law. Her current research is concerned with social work and financial social assistance due to unemployment and health related issues. The research concerns how social workers and people receiving assistance negotiate the law when a case about financial assistance is being examined and a decision made. Camilla draws on vulnerability theory in this research and among other things explores how the state responds to human vulnerability in these cases and how this negotiation matters for people’s socio-material being in and of the world.
