Bojan Perovic

Bojan Perovic is a legal scholar and practitioner with extensive experience in international law, with a focus on business and human rights. Before joining Emory, he practiced at premier law firms in both the United States and Germany.

His research contributions include roles at the Alexander Von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, The Hague Academy of International Law, and the Institute of Social Sciences. Mr. Perovic has presented at conferences hosted by leading universities such as UCL, Lund, Columbia University, among others. Perovic holds degrees from the University of Michigan Law School, the University of Belgrade School of Law, and the University of Belgrade School of Political Sciences. He is currently advancing his academic journey with a Ph.D. at the University of Hamburg.

In his work at Emory, Mr. Perovic is particularly engaged in research at the nexus of vulnerability theory and business and human rights. This research includes a focus on how a responsive state can address societal vulnerabilities exacerbated by corporate practices, especially in the context of technology and social media.
