The Emory MDP is part of the Laney Graduate School

As as an interdisciplinary program, Emory MDP students take courses across different units of Emory University, including the Emory College of Arts and SciencesRollins School of Public HealthGoizueta School of BusinessCandler School of Theology, and Emory Law. These schools are consistently ranked among the highest in their respective fields. Emory University is ranked 24th in the U.S.

As a practice-oriented program, Emory MDP emphasizes and facilitates professionalization opportunities, which provide students with skill training and network building. Students are required to complete two summer practicums  and may engage in optional academic-year internships with a diversity of organizations. These experiences may be conducted in person or remotely and may be paid or unpaid.
