Tykera works on multiple aspects of student affairs, including course enrollment, mentorship program, U.S.-based internships, and recruitment and onboarding as well as instructional and programmatic support. 

Tykera came to MDP from Emory Healthcare, after completing two bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Healthcare Administration from Valdosta State University, She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree program in Public Administration (also at Valdosta State).

Tykera loves skateboarding, playing tennis, and working out at the gym. She also enjoyes playing sodoku and sampling international cuisines.
